Questions about an official Fayette County docket must go to the clerk for the court that heard the matter. This private site cannot retrieve a file or act for a court. Circuit and General Sessions requests start with the Circuit Court Clerk, while Chancery, probate, estate, and equity records belong with the Clerk and Master. Municipal citations remain with the issuing city's court clerk.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot pull dockets, change or reset court dates, remove or seal cases, issue certified copies, or give legal advice for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the clerk of court or the trial court directly.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

Use the following Fayette County routes for common record needs:

  • Circuit or General Sessions docket: ask the Circuit Court Clerk for the docket sheet by party name or case number
  • Chancery, probate, or estate file: contact the Clerk and Master rather than the Circuit counter
  • Court date or setting: follow the court dates steps, then confirm the current setting with the originating clerk
  • Appellate case: use Tennessee Public Case History only for Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, or Court of Criminal Appeals matters
  • Copies and case files: review the court record search routes and request certification from the official custodian
